Privacy Policy

This site is a free Revit family library. It has no user accounts and no registration – you can download every file without telling us who you are. This policy explains the small amount of data the site does handle. Effective date: 22 July 2026.

What we do not collect

The site has no accounts and no newsletters. We do not ask for, store or process your name, email address, payment details or any other personal information in order for you to browse or download files.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

The site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how visitors find the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location (city level), browser and device type. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Download counters and server logs

When you download a family, the site increments an anonymous counter for it so popular downloads can be ranked. No personal information is attached to the count. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested URL, time) for security and troubleshooting; these are routinely rotated.

Uploading a family

The sidebar carries an optional form for contributing a Revit family to the library. It is hosted by JotForm, a third-party form service, and is the only place on the site where you can send us anything. Submitting it is entirely voluntary – nothing on the site requires it, and every download works without it.

Whatever you type into that form, along with the file you attach, is transmitted to and stored by JotForm and reaches us by email. Only send information you are willing to share, and only upload files you have the right to distribute. JotForm handles the submission under its own privacy policy.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. The site remains fully usable with cookies disabled – every page and download still works.
