Description
A span arrow built as line-based 2D geometry: a horizontal shaft with a single diagonal stroke at each end, one rising at the left and one dropping at the right, in the half-arrow convention used for spans. Reference planes and labelled dimensions in the preview show the strokes are set as a fixed fraction of the overall length, so they keep their proportion as the arrow is stretched.
Drawn on framing plans to mark the direction of joists, purlins, sheeting or slab reinforcement running between supports.
More annotation of this kind sits in Detail Items, including the Fall Arrow. A free Revit family download.
