Description
Set out in plan, a square base plate carries a circular hollow section column: the CHS is drawn as concentric circles at the centre, with four hexagonal bolts placed one to each corner. Dimension strings run across the plate and down its side, and labelled parameters for plate length, plate width and bolt position are visible in the preview, so the setout flexes rather than sitting there as fixed line work.
Suits structural steel detail sheets, connection details and typical base plate call-ups where a CHS post lands on a concrete footing, pier or slab.
