Description
Shaded 3D geometry of a tee-shaped steel section, shown in red: a single web plate standing off a flange and extruded to column length. BT sections are produced by splitting a universal beam down the web, which is why only half the familiar profile appears here. A type catalogue text file ships with the family, so only the sizes actually needed get loaded into the project.
Intended for structural models and framing drawings where tee columns are used as posts, mullion supports and light framing members rather than full universal sections.
