Description
One heavy horizontal line with a sharp zigzag kicked through the middle of it, a peak above the line and a trough below, and nothing else on the sheet. Plain 2D linework, drawn at a weight that reads clearly against drawing geometry.
The standard way to show that a run of wall, beam, pipe or ground continues past the edge of what has been drawn, so long elements can be cut short in sections, elevations and details without misleading anyone.
